About me
I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in paediatric and young adult orthopaedics, treating patients from birth up to the age of 25. Within my private practice, I also manage adults presenting with foot and ankle conditions.
My NHS base is at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where I work as a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon. I also serve as the Clinical Lead for Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Luton site.
My clinical practice encompasses both routine and complex conditions affecting the lower limbs in children and young adults, including disorders of the hip, knee, foot, and ankle. I have a particular interest in paediatric and young adult sports injuries, trauma, limb deformities, and limb reconstruction.
I qualified as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in 1998 in India and have since undertaken advanced training in paediatric and adult sports injuries, complex orthopaedic trauma, deformity correction in children, and limb reconstruction. This training has been completed across a number of tertiary referral centres in the UK, India, and Australia.
I have completed trauma and limb reconstruction fellowships at internationally recognised centres of excellence, including The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, Australia. In addition, I have undertaken specialist fellowships in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Trauma at Birmingham Children's Hospital and King's College London.
