About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist specialising in working with children and adolescents and their families. I have extensive experience working in both the NHS and private practice. I can offer a number of evidence-based therapies for a range of difficulties. I believe in helping young people and their families to gain an understanding of their difficulties and in supporting them in developing effective techniques to overcome current issues and build resilience for the future.

I understand that coming to a psychologist can be a daunting experience for both young people and their parents. I endeavour to aid young people to feel safe and secure to talk about their difficulties by being open and approachable, working at a pace that suits them, and adapting sessions to fit individual needs.

My approach is to offer time limited evidence-based therapy tailored to meet your goals and needs. I believe in helping young people to identify what values are important to them in life and how they can live more in line with these to help improve their mood and well-being. I draw on a range of approaches in order to help people achieve their goals.
