About me
Prof. Clement Orczyk is Professor and chair of Urology at UCL. He is a Consultant Urologist and Clinical Lead of the Prostate Cancer Unit at University College London Hospitals (UCLH), specialising in diagnostics, active surveillance, and focal therapy.
He has extensive expertise in advanced imaging and minimally invasive treatments for prostate cancer, including High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU), cryotherapy, and Nanoknife electroporation. With over 700 focal therapy procedures performed, he is one of the few clinicians globally skilled in multiple ablation techniques, allowing him to tailor treatment to each patient.
Prof. Orczyk is internationally recognised for his research and innovation in prostate cancer care, combining imaging, molecular tissue analysis, and artificial intelligence to improve diagnosis and outcomes. He completed specialist training in France and a fellowship at New York University before joining UCLH in 2017.
He continues to lead cutting-edge research, lectures at international conferences, and is actively involved in training the next generation of urologists.
