About me

I have extensive experience working in clinical and managerial roles in the NHS, and more recently now work privately, offering psychological therapies to adults and young people for difficulties including depression and anxiety. Examples of areas I work with include generalised anxiety, phobias, PTSD, and OCD. I also specialise in psychological aspects of managing sleep difficulties, and long term physical health conditions, including persistent pain. I also help people with trauma, relational/interpersonal difficulties and grief and loss. I utilise and draw from a range of therapy modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, counselling models, motivational interviewing and psychodynamic approaches.I also offer EMDR. I am happy to have an initial telephone conversation if you would like to find out more before taking the step to engaging in therapy.
