About me

Dr Catherine Horn (BA hons, CPsychol) is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Care Professions Council (hcpc) and accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). She is known as Kate and works using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassionate Mind, Solution-Focused and Systemic approaches and is a qualified Systemic Practitioner. Kate can help with mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, adjustment and relationship problems for individuals, couples and families. Kate also works with people affected by trauma, including abuse, loss, bereavement and accidents and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
