About me
Mr Roman Mykula graduated with overall honours in medicine and surgery from Sheffield University Medical school, then completed basic surgical training program in Cambridge University Hospitals, and specialization in plastic surgery in Oxford University Hospitals. He then won a nationally appointed competitive placement as Royal college of Surgery TIG fellow specializing in head and neck surgery. Following further fellowship in Skin Oncology, he underwent specialist training in an international fellowship in head and neck surgery and microsurgery in the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Australia. He then practiced as a consultant in Australia, prior to being appointed In Oxford University Hospitals and Royal Berkshire Hospital Reading as a consultant in Plastic Surgery specializing in Head and Neck, Skin Oncology, and perineal reconstruction. He has published research articles and presented internationally in related fields, including complex head and neck reconstruction, microsurgery, and skin oncology.
Prior to medicine, Mr Mykula completed Fordham Preparatory High School with overall Distinction and contributions to the community honours, and a liberal Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College, a New York University, USA.
