I also have a diploma in counselling, am a qualified EMDR therapist, qualified Social worker and Life coach. I work with both Adults and Young people. During my career I have been employed within Social services, the National Health Service and private healthcare, as well as having my own private practise.

I provide individual therapy to Adults and Young people with difficulties such as Anxiety and Depression, Panic disorder, Phobias, Post traumatic stress disorder, Obsessive Compulsive disorder, Perfectionism, Generalised Anxiety, insomnia, Trichotillomania, stress - including exam stress and work life balance. My other areas of experience are working with individuals in Education or training and I have worked extensively with students from Warwickshire, Coventry and Oxford Universities. I have also completed further training working with people with Long term health conditions such as COPD, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, Cancer, life limiting or life changing conditions and disabilities.

In addition to my therapy experience I qualified as a social worker in 1988. I have worked as a Social worker in Community Mental Health teams, Learning disabilities services, children and families teams and in Fostering and Adoption. This has given me added knowledge and experience to bring to my role as a therapist as it enhances my understanding of the issues that can bring individuals into therapy and the challenges they may face.

As an experienced therapist, my aim is to help and guide the people I work with to make positive changes in their lives, to manage the challenges they face and to identify and make the most of their strengths. I am committed to achieving this in a timely, cost effective and professional manner for the individual.
