About me

With over 17 years of experience as a clinical psychologist, Dr Lee is passionate about providing high quality private psychological healthcare services to children and families. She is the Clinical Director of Purple House Clinic Nottingham, part of a nationwide network of clinics that offer a range of evidence-based interventions and assessments for various psychological difficulties and needs.

As the Clinical Director and a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council HCPC, Dr Lee has extensive experience in both the NHS and private practice to assist individuals facing mental health challenges. Employing diverse psychological approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing EMDR, expertise in Neuropsychology, Dr Lee helps individuals comprehend their difficulties and navigate towards achieving their personal goals. She is experienced in working with clients of all ages - adults, children and adolescents. She provides assessment and therapeutic intervention for a range of common psychological issues including depression, anxiety, phobias, obsessive/compulsive problems, trauma, child behavioural problems, children and parents struggling with issues around death and dying, loss, trauma, anxiety and adjustment to chronic and life-limiting physical health conditions.

Further to qualifying in 2006 Dr Lee has worked in a range of settings both in the NHS and privately. She has a specialist interest in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation and has post qualification training in Clinical Neuropsychology and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing EMDR.

Driven by a strong commitment to psychological wellbeing, Dr Lee has provided consultation, training, and workshops to various organisations within the voluntary and private sectors and is actively involved in research.
