About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience in various NHS adult mental health settings, providing specialist assessment and treatment of a broad range of psychological and emotional difficulties.

I am trained in a range of evidence-based models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic, and systemic theory. I have further specialist training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and other ‘third wave’ approaches, including Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).

In my clinical practice I would often integrate models to address each client’s unique needs and therapeutic goals.

I take an open, compassionate and flexible stance to therapy and would always strive to create a warm, safe, and non-judgemental space to enable individuals to explore their difficulties, consider new perspectives and find inner resources to make positive changes to reduce distress and move towards richer and fulling way of living.
