About me

Mr David Whitehead is a Consultant ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon practising exclusively from Harley Street, London. He is the founder of NOSE London (www.nose.london), a specialist rhinoplasty practice based at 9 Harley Street, with surgery performed at Weymouth Street Hospital.

Mr Whitehead is one of very few UK surgeons who combines full ENT training with a dedicated facial plastic surgery fellowship. This dual expertise means he understands both the form and function of every nose � how it looks and how it breathes. He is Board Certified in Cosmetic Surgery of the Face, Nose, Periorbital Region and Ears by the Intercollegiate Board of the Royal College of Surgeons, one of the most rigorous cosmetic surgery credentials in the UK.

He completed his rhinology fellowship at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust under Professor Tim Woolford, followed by a facial plastic surgery fellowship in Istanbul under Professor Ozcan Cakmak, accredited by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS). He has also completed advanced training in deep plane facelift surgery at FACEISTANBUL.

Mr Whitehead offers the full spectrum of rhinoplasty surgery: primary rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, septorhinoplasty, ethnic rhinoplasty, and male rhinoplasty. He specialises in preservation rhinoplasty techniques and uses ultrasonic piezo instruments for precise bone work. All patients receive 3D photographic surgical planning using Vectra imaging to visualise and agree goals before surgery.

Beyond rhinoplasty, Mr Whitehead treats functional nasal conditions including chronic sinusitis, nasal obstruction, deviated septum, and rhinitis. He offers ClariFix cryotherapy for chronic rhinitis and comprehensive nasal airway assessment.

Mr Whitehead qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine (MBBS 1996), holds a Master of Science in Surgical Technology from Imperial College London, and has been on the GMC Specialist Register for Otolaryngology since 2012. He is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, The Rhinoplasty Society of Europe, the British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery, and the British Rhinological Society.
