About me
Malcolm Padwick is a senior consultant gynaecologist working both in the NHS and Private Practice. He specialises in Laparoscopic surgery and radical cancer surgery.
He trained at King's College Hospital, London, where he also spent 3 years as a Research Fellow writing an MD Thesis on the prevention of uterine cancer.
His clinical training occurred between King's College, Plymouth, Bristol and The Hammersmith Hospitals, where he was exposed to both a huge volume and variety of gynaecological surgical techniques.
He went on to develop his laparoscopic skills and was the first surgeon in the South West of England to perform a laparoscopic hysterectomy. He introduced laparoscopic LASER surgery for endometriosis to the Hertfordshire area.
He has become the lead gynaecological cancer surgeon for the West Herts NHS Trust, as well as being the lead colposcopist.
