About me
I have been a spinal consultant since 2011. I have a specialist interest in adult degenerative spinal conditions as well as trauma, infection and metastatic spinal disease. In the past I have been involved as clinical director in Ipswich as well as the regional chair for the spinal network. I represent the cancer alliance in the East of England as the clinical lead for metastatic spinal cord compression. My roles have now developed to national level as National Clinical Director for Spinal Services and Neurosurgery with NHS England. Also currently the Immediate Past President of the British Association of Spine Surgeons. Having been appointed as a Consultant Spinal Surgeon in 2011 at The Ipswich hospital, my clinical skills have developed and I work closely with all medical professionals to optimise patient care and outcomes.
