Neha is a highly experienced and passionate Specialist Bariatric, Weight Management and Diabetes Dietitian working in the NHS and in the private sector. In her 10 years’ experience, she has been fortunate enough to work with many patients helping them improve their health and well-being, having worked in Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa and more recently in London as the Lead Diabetes Dietitian for Central Middlesex Hospital.
Neha is the founder of Nutrition by Neha which is an evidence-based professional service, providing bespoke care and helping patients manage their weight and improve their Diabetes control. Neha helps support patients to build lifelong healthy habits, giving them the tools and support they need to eat better, shift their mind-set and create a lifestyle they love. Neha provides support and dietetic expertise to patients with Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2 and Gestational Diabetes), patients needing weight loss advice and patients undergoing Bariatric surgery (Gastric band, Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Bypass and Gastric Balloon).
Neha is fully competent in adjusting gastric bands and also provides follow up care to post-operative patients who have had surgery abroad or are out of their care package. She works closely with a Bariatric Consultant to help patients achieve the best possible weight loss outcome from surgery.
Neha is also experienced and comfortable caring for patients with a range of other diet related conditions including; high cholesterol, high blood pressure, gout, heart health.
Neha has written and contributed to a large number of research papers and has also had the opportunity to speak nationally on a variety of Bariatric related topics including the dietary management of bariatric surgery as well as the management of Diabetes medication in patients undergoing Bariatric surgery in the pre, peri and post-operative period.
Neha is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) including the Freelance Dietitian group.
