Dr Ed Sellon is a Consultant MSK Radiologist at Oxford University Hospitals. He is the Trauma Imaging Lead for the Major Trauma Centre in Oxford and the Lead for Education for Thames Valley Trauma Network. He is also the Clinical Lead for radiology at the Defence Military Rehabilitation Centre in Loughborough. He specialises in all aspects of musculoskeletal and sports imaging, including, trauma, spine, rheumatology and image-guided intervention.
Research interests
Dr Ed Sellon conducts research through Oxford University and the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre in Loughborough, where he investigates novel injury rehabilitation techniques. He has authored any peer-reviewed papers, abstracts and book chapters (in the fields of radiology, sports medicine, injury rehabilitation and military medicine), and is the author of two medical textbooks. He has given lectures and workshops nationally and internationally on all aspects of musculoskeletal and sports imaging and has organised several courses.
Personal interests
Dr Ed Sellon is an amateur endurance runner and competes in ultra-distance trail races.
