About me
I am an Honorary Associate Professor in Bristol University and Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon in Musgrove Park Hospital, Somerset Foundation Trust. I have held many national and international roles. I am part of the Oxford University and Copenhagen University research teams for the LightBAR multinational randomised controlled trial. I am a Trustee of the British Obesity and Metabolic Specialists Society.
I have a practice in benign laparoscopic upper GI surgery including hernia surgery (groin hernias), cholecystectomy (gallbladder surgery) and operations for hiatus hernia / reflux (fundoplication) as well as other advanced laparoscopic surgery.

Upper gastro-intestinal disease; Laparoscopic procedures ('keyhole surgery') for inguinal hernia, gallstones (cholecystectomy) and gastroesophageal reflux (fundoplication).
