About me
Dr Daniela Piras is a fully accredited Consultant in Dermatology.
She is on the British Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and a member of the British Association of Dermatologists.
She trained in Medicine and Surgery at Sassari University in Italy, qualifying with distinction in 1999.
Her training in Dermatology and Venereology was completed in 2003 at Sassari University, Italy, qualifying with Distinction.
A further period of training as clinical research fellow was subsequently undertaken at the Royal London Hospital for 1 year in 2004.
Dr Piras is a consultant Dermatologist currently working at Epsom and St Helier Hospitals in Surrey. She had worked at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospital NHS Trust for over 10 years dealing with inflammatory skin disorders and skin cancer.
She has an advanced training in Dermoscopy which she applies for the assessment of skin lesions including moles, warts, precancerous and cancerous growths in any skin type and age group.
Dr Piras performs the mole mapping, useful diagnostic tool for skin cancer prevention.
