About me
I am passionate about improving care for those patients diagnosed with OSA. I find it extremely rewarding to help a patient to get deep refreshing sleep when they have sometimes had the problem for so many years, they did not realise how bad their daytime tiredness was.My aim is that all patients with OSA are identified in a timely manner, undergo the correct tests and subsequently receive the correct treatment. I am also happy to deal with a range of common respiratory problems including asthma and investigations for persistent cough or breathlessness. Once on treatment, they should be able to access services that support them and their families and be regularly reviewed to ensure they remain on the correct therapy. This needs to be underpinned by robust and clear parameters for healthcare practitioners to follow: All these processes need be based on the highest possible level of evidence with well-constructed guidelines.
