Heather Joy  - Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

Heather Joy is an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. Following her post-graduate studies in Health Psychology, she has been using CBT in both physical and mental health services within the NHS since 2008. She completed her CBT training in Birmingham and has been practicing in a London NHS Psychology service since 2012. Her practice has been varied, gaining experience with a broad range of problems in both her NHS and private work. Heather has a warm, compassionate therapeutic style. She is passionate about tailoring therapy to meet your individual needs and works in a collaborative way to enable you to make meaningful changes in your life. She draws on a range of CBT approaches and has received further training in Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
