This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Johan Keller is a consultant eye surgeon based in Bristol. He has worked in all areas of ophthalmology for over 15 years. His special area of expertise is in retinal diseases having spent over 2 years undergoing super-specialised training at the Sydney Eye Hospital and the Bristol Eye Hospital. He carries out over 300 retinal operations yearly and looks after patients with vascular and degenerative retinal diseases. He also operates 350 patients with cataracts every year and leads in theatre productivity for the hospital.
Johan has a special interest in patient safety and quality assurance and is the clinical governance officer for the Eye Hospital. Besides the complexities and technical aspects of eye disease, he places special emphasis on a warm bedside manner and good communication with patients and relatives.
He trained in general ophthalmology in the Midlands, the South of England and Barcelona, Spain.
Within the Eye Hospital, Johan trains two senior surgeons each year who go on to become consultants in their own right.
Mr Keller is member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologist, the Britain and Eire Association of Vitreo-Retinal Surgeons, the American Society of Retinal Specialists and the European Society of Retinal Specialists
