About me
Dr. Shireen Saluja is an experienced Clinical Psychologist, accredited by both the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and The British Psychological Society (BPS). She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University, Chicago, Illinois, and has extensive experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds across a wide range of psychological difficulties.
Dr. Saluja has worked within the NHS as a Health Psychologist and has clinical expertise in Neuro-Rehabilitation, particularly with patients recovering from Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke. She also holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Richmond, Virginia, and a Master's degree in Psychology from Midwestern University. Bilingual in Hindi and Punjabi, she is able to provide culturally sensitive support to a broad client base.
Her clinical interests include working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, rape, domestic violence, as well as individuals experiencing chronic pain, fatigue, terminal illness, and anxiety. Dr. Saluja is also passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, with a particular focus on Autism and ADHD, and she specialises in assessment, diagnosis, and tailored support for both children and adults.
She is highly trained in a wide range of psychological assessments, including evaluations of cognitive functioning, personality disorders, memory, Autism, ADHD, and trauma-related inventories.
