About me

I am an experienced chartered physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. I have completed an MSc in Rehabilitation Science (Physiotherapy) and BSc in Sports Science.

Prior to working in South Devon I worked with elite athletes at the National Indoor Athletic Centre in Cardiff and established a specialist clinic at a climbing centre in Sussex. My wife and I have also trained physiotherapists and helped to establish physiotherapy clinics overseas.

As a sports massage therapist (level 4), and having completed several post-graduate courses in joint manipulation, I have a very hands-on and holistic approach to rehabilitation.

I have completed post-graduate training in acupuncture, which I regularly incorporate as part of an holistic and integrated rehabilitation program.

I spent several years as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist within the NHS during which time I ran the spinal rehabilitation, lower limb, hydrotherapy and acupuncture programs.

I have completed post-graduate training in dynamic movement screening and have a particular interest in unravelling the source behind complex movement dysfunctions.

As a qualified yoga teacher I also run clinical yoga courses for clients with back pain and train yoga teachers to understand and manage their clients' physical impairments.
