About me
I have been a Consultant Urologist at Darent Valley since February 2016. I am a general Consultant Urologist with a special interest in Lower Urinary tract dysfunction, Superficial Bladder cancer and Renal Stones.
I qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine in 1998. Following Basic Surgical Training, I completed specialist urology training in the North Thames Deanery in October 2014.
I have performed over 600 flexible/rigid ureteroscopies and laser of renal/ureteric stones
I also set up a urodynamics service and have developed local guidelines for patients with lower urinary tract dysfunction.
With the uro-gynae team, I helped set up a local uro-gynae MDT meeting and together we have also set up intravesical botox therapy under local anaesthetic via flexible cystoscopy as a treatment option for patients with overactive bladder.
I am very interested in teaching and regularly teaches and supervises the middle grade doctors to perform cases in theatre.
I also lecture in urology and examine for Guys Medical School. Finally I am also involved in the training of foundation and core trainee doctors and have been recently appointed as an Educational Supervisor for Foundation Doctors aswell as Final Year Medical Students.
