About me
I am a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon specialising in all aspects of adult foot and ankle surgery. I have a special interest in heel pain, and I regularly see patients with plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinopathy. I also have an interest in sports injuries.
I obtained my medical degree and completed my higher training in London prior to undertaking a year long fellowship at the renowned Surrey Foot and Ankle fellowship.
I am currently the lead for clinical governance for the orthopaedic department at South Tyneside hospital. I am also the clinical lead for the management of neck of femur fractures in our hospital.
I have obtained a Masters degree in health science (Trauma and Orthopaedics) from the University of Warwick. I keep my clinical knowledge and skills up to date, by attending courses and conferences all over the world, where I have presented topics of interest on many occasions.
