About me

I have carried out my specialist urology training in North East London, that included centres of excellence like Barts Hospital and Royal free Hospital. I passed my FRCS urology exam in 2014 and was awarded my specialist training certificate by the GMC in 2015 after which I was appointed as a Urology consultant over four years ago at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital.
My general urology clinic covers all aspects of common urology problems including conditions like blood in the urine; blood in the semen; difficulty passing urine; recurrent urinary tract infection; kidney stones; tight foreskin and scrotal swelling.

My day to day practice includes diagnostic and core urology procedures covering various aspects of prostate , bladder and urethral surgery, examples will include penile and scrotal surgeries e.g circumcision and hydrocele repair; prostate biopsies, prostate surgery , bladder tumor, bladder stones and over active bladder dysfunction.

Areas of interest

I have special interest in ureteric and kidney stone surgery and over the past few years I have carried out hundreds of laser ureteroscopic surgery.
I have also a special interest in prostate surgeries
that include Laser prostate surgeries and minimal invasive surgery to the prostate like REZUM

I have been awarded a doctor of medicine (MD) degree by University College Hospital in 2013 for my research on erectile dysfunction and have published my results in top journals of that field and presented in various prestigious international meeting.

I have also worked as an honorary clinic lecturer at UCL for three years.

At the moment I am an educational and clinical supervisor for junior doctors and the urology governance lead at Basildon Hospital.
