About me

I have over 15 years experience of working in the area of Adult Mental Health, working with males and females across the entire life span cycle (teenagers to older adults) treating a variety of mental health difficulties, ranging from common mental health problems (depression, anxiety disorders) to severe and enduring mental health difficulties (psychosis, personality disorders). I also have specialist knowledge and skills when it comes to working with people who not only have mental health difficulties but are also living with long-term physical health conditions, such as Chronic Pain.

I currently work in the National Health Service (NHS) as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist. In addition to my NHS work I run a private therapy practice out of my office in Warrington (Cheshire) where I provide a range of services to the public and other health professionals. My main interests lie in the area of Adult Mental and Physical Health, Parenting Research and Mindfulness.

In terms of my training, I am proficient in several therapeutic approaches which helps me cater to the needs of clients with diverse mental and physical health needs. As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold accreditation with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), my Chartered status is granted by the British Psychological Society (BPS)
