About me
Dr David Graham is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Endoscopist at University College Hospital, London. He trained at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Medical School and completed Gastroenterology training in North East London. He undertook a PhD at University College London focussing on the early detection of oesophageal cancer.
He has a wealth of experience in Gastroenterology and Hepatology with a specialist interest and expertise in managing patients with acid-reflux (Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease), Barrett’s oesophagus, oesophageal and gastric cancer, chronic gastritis and atrophic gastritis, endoscopic imaging technologies and interventional endoscopy. Dr Graham also has vast experience in general Gastroenterology conditions including; abdominal pain, diarrhoea, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Dr Graham was part of the expert committee devising British Society of Gastroenterology guidelines for the management of the pre-malignant and early malignant lesions of the stomach and is the clinical lead for the Multidisciplinary Diagnostic Centres that are a fast track pathway aimed at diagnosing cancer early. Dr Graham teaches and lectures both nationally and internationally at conferences on subjects within his specialist interest and has established international research collaborations exploring endoscopic imaging, endoscopic therapies and early cancer diagnosis. Finally, Dr Graham has a keen interest in endoscopy training and has taught on and helped run many live state of the art endoscopy courses at UCLH and internationally.
