About me
Mr Amit Parmar is a Paediatric ENT Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon. Who currently works at Birmingham Childrens Hospital, Midland Health and the Spire Parkway.
He attended medical school in London at the prestigious St Bartholomew’s and Royal London School of medicine where he graduated with Distinctions. During his early training he rotated through a number of well-known UK and International institutes such as Great Ormond Street and the Melbourne Eye and Ear Hospital.
In addition to passing with distinctions, Mr Parmar won several regional and nationally competitive prizes such as the Wolfson Fellowship and Henry Silverman ENT prize.
Moving to the Southwest of England Mr Parmar completed his ENT/Head and Neck training in the Bristol region, during which time he passed his Diploma in Head and Neck Surgery and Fellowship exams. In 2015 he was admitted as Fellow to the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is on the General Medical Council’s specialist register no. 6128020
Mr Parmar went overseas to Australia to learn additional surgical skills that he could bring back to the UK. While in Perth, Western Australia he gained refinement in many areas of ENT surgery but specifically in Paedatric Airway, Head and Neck Surgery.
Mr Parmar’s level of training has resulted in him being appointed as Consultant ENT Surgeon at the Internationally renowned Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
