About me
About me
I am a person centred counsellor working in Edinburgh.
Whatever the problem, talking with someone trained to listen sensitively and empathically can help you to understand it. I offer a safe, confidential space to explore issues which may be causing confusion, difficulty or distress. You do not have to be in crisis, or on the verge of one, before choosing to have counselling. You may be seeking greater balance in your life.
As your therapist, I will not judge you in any way, but will be alongside you as you explore your experience and will help you to make changes, if that’s what you want to do. It is my aim to offer a tailored therapy which tracks your needs and is responsive to them.
I offer face to face counselling and psychotherapy in Edinburgh. I also offer a Telephone Counselling service for those who find accessing counselling difficult, or would simply prefer this method of counselling.
Training, qualifications & experience:
I have an MSc in Counselling Studies and Postgraduate Diploma in Person centred counselling and psychotherapy.
I follow a practitioner researcher model of counselling, meaning my approach benefits from both contemporary research and practice-based experience.
I am an accredited and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and subscribe to their ethical framework.
