About me
I can appreciate that during the Covid-19 pandemic patients may not want to visit hospital. I am offering telemedicine video consultations to patients with hand, wrist and elbow conditions. Accepting the limitations of video consultations, I can help to alleviate anxiety regarding the condition and can advise a management plan taking into consideration the evolving situation.
Nick is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon who subspecialises in hand, wrist and elbow surgery. His specialty interests include: peripheral nerve entrapment, Dupuytren’s disease, hand and wrist trauma, arthritis of the hand and wrist, and keyhole surgery.
Nick qualified from St. Barts and the Royal London School of Medicine in 2001. He undertook his early post-graduate training in London and at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, before completing his senior Orthopaedic training in the Oxford deanery. He was subsequently awarded the Oxford Hand Surgery Fellowship and has also benefited from visiting fellowships at the Mayo Clinic and the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Nick obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2013 and the Diploma in Hand Surgery from Manchester University in 2016.
