About me

My name is Mandy Atkinson and I am a UKCP accredited Psychotherapist, a Certified Transactional Analyst Psychotherapist and a BACP accredited counsellor, based near South Walsham in Norfolk. I am a qualified and experienced psychotherapist and have completed many hours of practice. I have always worked both face to face and in an online capacity as a psychotherapist. My experience includes working with a wide variety of issues in NHS, non profit organisations, hospital, clinic, hospice and private practice clinical settings. I am also available to work and provide psychotherapy in an online capacity. I offer the time and space within our therapeutic relationship for you to be listened to and understood. Somewhere where you can make sense of how you are thinking and feeling. I specialise in working with trauma, abuse, loss and bereavement, anxiety and depression. I have specialist experience in working with eating disorders and weight related issues such as anorexia nervosa, binge eating, obesity, emet-phobia and anorexia bulimia. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, couples, families and groups.
