About me
Aleeza is a registered dietitian specialising in eating disorders and weight management. She graduated cum laude with an Honours degree in Dietetics and was awarded the degree ‘MSc Clinical Nutrition (Eating Disorders)’ with distinction from University College London (UCL).
She has almost 20 years of experience working with people of all ages both in the NHS and in private practice. She was the lead dietitian for London’s largest NHS eating disorder service for 7 years where she managed the 20- bedded inpatient unit, the outpatient service and day hospital and held a caseload of highly complex patients within each. Having also studied psychology, she is an expert in behavioural change counselling to support patients, both underweight and overweight, to achieve and sustain a healthy weight. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA). She is also a member of the BDA’s Mental Health Interest Group and the London Eating Disorders Dietetic Group (LEDDG). She lectures on eating disorders, obesity and weight management for various tertiary institutions.
