Mr Steven Connor

BSc (Hons), PGCert (podiatric sports medicine), MFPM RCPS (Glasg), MCPod

Steven works at Balance Performance Physiotherapy clinic in Clapham, London on Mondays and Tuesdays. He also works at Butler Physiotherapy in Guildford on Wednesdays. He works as a specialist podiatrist in the Frimley NHS trust and has done since 2014.

Steven is a podiatrist specialising in Podiatric Sports Medicine. He graduated from Southampton university in 2013 and has experience of working in both private and NHS settings. He has worked with a wide range of runners and athletes regarding their foot and ankle conditions, rehabilitation and biomechanics.

Steven is a guest lecturer on the Sports & Exercise Medicine Masters degree (MSc) at Queen Mary university and has presented at multiple conferences around the UK. He has represented the Royal College of Podiatry and has been part of the medical team at multiple sports events including Ultra-Challenge series events and athletics competitions. He is a clinical expert for Run3D which is a 3D gait analysis symptom and has been part of the Run3D tea, at the National Running Show.

In 2020, he was accepted as a full member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, MFPM RCPS (Glasg) and is a member of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine (BASEM).

In his spare time, he is currently training for marathons and has a best of 2hr 35. He has represented his county and the region in multiple occasions over the years and uses his vast knowledge of running to help his patients get back running.
