About me

Heena is a Practitioner and Applied Psychologist working in Cambridge and Saffron Walden. She is a Chartered Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society and is a practitioner and Counselling Psychologist regulated and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She promotes a biopsychosocial and holistic approach in her work with adults and children over the age of 11.

Further details of services provided are set out below. In addition, Heena is involved in pro-bono projects, most notably as a co-founder of Walden Wellbeing. Heena strongly believes that early intervention is key to avoid escalation of symptoms and concerns which could otherwise compromise one's well being and functioning in their day-to-day living and quality of life.

Amongst the various services available, Heena provides face-to-face and (where appropriate) telephone/online sessions. Depending on each client’s needs identified during an initial assessment, treatment/therapy can be short, medium or long term. Follow up sessions can sometimes also be arranged.

Evidence-based practice, practice-based evidence and reflective practice is central to Heena’s way of working. She ultimately tailors her clinical practice to the needs and context of her clients, offering an integrated approach which may include (but is not limited to) elements of CBT, EMDR, Person-centred and Psychodynamic therapies.
