About me
Dr Jordan qualified from Oxford University Medical School in 2006 before undergoing training in Oxford and at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London.
He completed his specialist registrar posts in the Wessex region before becoming the Gawthorn Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Exeter.
His research investigated the treatment of newly-diagnosed hypertension and the cardiovascular response to treatment, using state-of-the art microvascular techniques and cardiac MRI.
He maintains accreditation with the British Society of Echocardiography in transthoracic and transoesophageal imaging and Level 3 Certification with the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
He is the Operational Lead for Cardiology at Poole Hospital and the Lead for Trainees and Education for Cardiology across University Hospitals Dorset. In addition he is a member of both the Research Working Group and the Guidelines and Information Working Group for the British and Irish Hypertension Society.
