I have a particular interest and expertise in diagnostic gastroenterology, including endoscopy and colonoscopy, and management of Inflammatory bowel Disease (Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's disease), Capsule endoscopy and small bowel disease, Coeliac disease and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
I have a weekly dedicated IBD clinic with access to multi-professional team including dietitians, specialist nurses and radiologists.
I have expertise in the management of complex IBD and have successfully treated patients who have been struggling with their symptom for a long time.
In addition, I have extensive research experience in IBD, and have collaborated nationally with major IBD units.
I have expertise in capsule endoscopy assessment of the small and large intestine, and have been accredited by the British Society of Gastroenterology for provision of colon capsule service.
I have a caring and friendly manner, I undertake all private diagnostic gastroscopy/ colonoscopy and colonoscopy myself.
