About me

As a Counselling Psychologist, Compassion is at forefront of my work and my personal daily practice. I deeply understand that life's journey often entails moments of suffering. Particularly as we live in a fast-paced world that that can make it easy for us to lose our sense of self or get overpowered with difficult thoughts and feelings. Nonetheless, within each of us lies the remarkable ability to work through challenges and cultivate a life rich in purpose and fulfillment. To embark on this transformative journey, we must first grasp the essence of who we are, including the narratives of our lives, and find a path that resonates with our values. My passion lies in guiding individuals towards a deeper self-understanding because I truly believe that knowledge empowers. This principle is central to my mission - empowering you with the knowledge and insight needed to lead a purposeful life.

With over 15 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working in a diverse array of settings, including the NHS, working with individuals of all ages. Over the past four years, I have been dedicated to my private practice, specialising in supporting those dealing with self-esteem and self-identity challenges, body image concerns, to sensitive areas such as trauma with special interest in childbirth traumas and the scars of childhood traumas.

If you find yourself wrestling with any of these issues, please don't hesitate to reach out. Let's discuss how I can support you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery.

I offer a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Person Centred Therapy. I will work collaboratively with you by helping you understand your difficulties and tailor a treatment plan to meet your needs.
