About me

As a BACP Registered & Senior Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and a Supervisor.
I have 24yrs experience working with clients in NHS, University, and Private settings.

I have many years experience working as a
Registered Nurse both in hospital including 20yrs, in Primary Care as a Senior Practice Nurse.I provided medical/psychological/pastoral services to local University students and the wider practice population.

Working in my busy private practice my therapy model is Integrative and draws upon training in a number of approaches, including Humanistic, , CBT, Solution Focused, Brief Therapy, Rewind technique, Mindfulness and Hypnotherapy.

When appropriate a nursing background also informs some of my therapeutic work, particularly when working with allied professionals,emergency service personnel and clients who have physical illness.

Providing an ethical and professional approach I use all of my knowledge and experience to adapt my work to meet the individual needs and goals of all clients.
