About me
Mr Amit Bhargava is a leading Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in foot and ankle conditions, with private practices at Nuffield Health Brentwood, Spire Hartswood Hospital in Brentwood, and Spire Wellesley Hospital in Southend.
He also holds a substantive NHS consultant post at Basildon University Hospital, where he has played a key role in transforming the foot and ankle service across Essex.
Mr Bhargava is widely recognised for his ability to accurately diagnose the root cause of foot and ankle problems and deliver targeted, evidence-based treatments. His approach is centred around combining surgical expertise with a deep understanding of each patient's goals�ensuring care that is not only clinically effective but also highly personalised.
His dedicated multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, radiologists, orthotists, and specialist nurses works together to provide seamless, high-quality care. They are united by a shared commitment to delivering effective, compassionate treatment to patients across London and Essex.
Mr Bhargava has completed two specialist fellowships in Foot and Ankle Surgery and an additional fellowship in Complex Fracture and Trauma Surgery. He has a particular interest in the treatment of sports injuries, helping patients from athletes to everyday individuals to recover strength, mobility, and confidence.
