About me
I am currently working as a Consultant in Nephrology at Watford General Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital. I was appointed as a Consultant in 2014. I hold Honorary Consultant posts at Harefield Hospital. My Nephrology training was at Hammersmith and Royal London Hospitals.
I was the Clinical Lead for Nephrology and Acute Kidney Injury at Hillingdon Hospital. I am also a member of LAKIN (London AKI Network).
I am experienced in all the aspects of renal medicine including general nephrology, acute kidney injury (AKI) ,chronic kidney disease (CKD), hypertension, urinary abnormalities eg proteinuria / haematuria and diabetic kidney disease. My research was on incidence of thrombosis in diabetic patients with renal transplant patients. I have been involved in developing Acute Kidney Injury pathway. I am actively involved in teaching and delivering GP talks,.
I am a visiting Consultant Nephrologist at Harefield Hospital and have expertise in looking after lung and heart transplant patients with renal problems.
I am also experienced in treating acute medical conditions.
I am speciality lead for Renal Medicine at Brunel Medical School and take active part in development of Renal Medicine curriculum and teaching medical students.
