About me

Kate is a highly skilled experienced medical lymphatic drainage therapist.
Bupa recognised and is a member of MLD UK, LTA and PhysioPod.
Specialising in treatment of Lymphodema, Lipoedema, including all your pre and post cosmetics needs including garment fitting for all conditions. Kate qualified as massage therapist in 1990 and became passionate about Lymphoedema after her own mother's breast cancer which lead to her developing Lymphoedema after her treatment. Realising there was a shortage of MLD therapists decided to retrain at the World renowned Foldi Clinic in 2010. After which she worked at the Arthur Rank hospice in Cambridge for nearly 5 years gaining lots of valuable patient experience. Wanting to add further treatment benefits Kate also trained in the Flouroscopy guided MLD with Jane Wigg, enabling her to perform more effective treatments. Kate can also offer Kinesio taping to further enhance your treatment. Always wanting to give the best to her patients, after much research decided to use deep oscillation therapy in conjunction with her MLD which greatly improves the benefits of MLD, unless you have a contra indication, this treatment shall be used with your MLD to give you the most effective results available.
