About me
Mr. Bogdan Ivanov graduated medical school in 2004, completed his surgical training in 2020 in a tertiary center - Gatrointestinal and Liver Transplant Center in Romania at Fundeni Clincal Institute, Bucharest ) and relocated to the United Kingdom in 2010, where he underwent further training in advanced laparoscopic surgery, emergency surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery and more recently in robotic assisted laparoscopic abdominal surgery.
Since 2015, he has been a consultant at Princess Alexandra Hospital in the National Health Service (NHS). In 2017, he commenced private practice.
Mr. Ivanov holds a special interest in laparoscopic abdominal surgery.
Due to his extensive experience in both open and laparoscopic surgery, elective and emergency procedures, Mr. Ivanov is able to provide advice and surgical input for a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions ( affecting the gallbladder , small bowel , stomach and chronic abdominal pain due to adhesions) as well as abdominal wall pathology such as hernias and soft tissue lesions.
Mr. Ivanov is also fully qualified and JAC-accredited upper gastrointestinal endoscopist.
He actively participates in annual national and international surgical conferences as a fellow of the European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons, the Association of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons, and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. These memberships enable him to stay informed about the latest advancements in the treatment of various conditions.
