About My Counselling:
Talking to a counsellor (me!) can be a good way of offloading or releasing long-held emotions. It can also be helpful in weighing up options and choices. You may have nobody to talk with, or maybe your usual way of dealing with issues is to ignore them and to try to get on with life. Sometimes though, maybe due to a gradual build-up or a sudden life event, it can be a struggle to keep control of emotions, or to understand them. Talking about them in counselling can be a good way of coming to terms with them.
Counselling is not about offering advice or finding a solution for you. It is a team effort where we work together to increase awareness of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and then you are able to consider if these would benefit from change.
Location:
I have an office in Shrewsbury, close to the town centre.
