About me
Mrs Feldman is a consultant surgeon at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, appointed in 2007. Her undergraduate training was at Guy's & St Thomas's Hospitals in London and surgical training was in the Plymouth, Leicester and Manchester training programmes. She has a degree in Medical education.
During the last 10 years in the Royal Cornwall Hospital she has been the surgical governance lead and has a specific interest in governance and safety. She has also served as the colorectal cancer lead for the Trust and also for the Devon and Cornwall Cancer network.
Areas of interest
Mrs Feldman is interested in seeing patients with abdominal pain and all manner of bowel or anal symptoms. Areas of specialist practice include laparoscopic and open surgery for cancer, polyps, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulosis, haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas. Also the medical and surgical management of functional bowel disorders such as obstructive defaecation syndrome, slow transit constipation, faecal incontinence, rectal prolapse, occult prolapse and irritable bowel syndrome.
