Dr Animesh Singh is a Consultant in Rheumatology and General Medicine working privately at The Physicians' Clinic, The Princess Grace Hospital and Chiswick Medical Centre. His NHS base is the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead.
He aims to offer holistic, evidence-based care to all his patients. He takes pride in treating individual patients and not just their medical problems and runs his clinics in a collaborative fashion with his patients, maintaining great respect for their beliefs and background.
He is proficient in the management of patients with all types of rheumatological disorders with particular interest in rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR), osteoporosis, gout and lupus (SLE). In addition, he is heavily involved with acute and general medicine including the assessment and management of acutely sick patients as well as the investigation of complex undifferentiated symptoms. He participates in the medical on call rota at both the Royal Free and Princess Grace Hospitals.
At the Royal Free, he is lead for postgraduate medical training in acute medicine and previously was clinical governance lead. He runs a unique psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis clinic with dermatology consultants.
He is an educational supervisor for junior doctors, clinical tutor for undergraduate medical students and principal investigator in a number of clinical trials.
