About me
I have wide ranging experience since 1981 in the NHS, Social Services and the independent sector in both in-patient and out-patient settings with children, adolescents and adults. I trained at the Institute of Family Therapy and at the Tavistock Clinic and qualified as a psychotherapist ion 1997. My training and experience includes research, teaching, and clinical supervision. I aim to work collaboratively with clients and together we can decide whether individual, couple or family therapy would be most appropriate, how often the sessions should be, and whether to aim for short term focused work or longer term more exploratory work. I can offer one-off consultations to clarify the problem areas, determine client need and reach an understanding that will lead to a plan for a helpful way forward.
