About me
I am an accredited counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work as a private counsellor in Beaconsfield and for a London clinic. The clinic offers emotional counselling as well as counselling for various eating disorders including emotional eating, anorexia, over eating, binge eating and bulimia. I am currently the clinical development lead for anorexia.
I have experience with working with IVF treatment and miscarriage.
I have facilitated carers support groups for the NHS and a support group at a care home for relatives of people with Alzheimers. I previously worked for the NHS as a counsellor at various GP surgeries and as a staff counsellor at two NHS hospitals.
I have also worked with Macmillan to set up a support group for cancer patients and offered supervision to Cancer Nurse specialists.
I have passed the Multiple Sclerosis counselling requirements to enable me to work with people diagnosed with MS. . I have significant experience of counselling young people and spent many years volunteering for Link Youth Counselling. I am a counsellor who feels strongly that everyone's story is important and having a space to work through your issues is really important.
