About me
Sue has over 25 years working as a physiotherapist. Having gained skills in working in several large hospitals on merseyside, she has now worked on The Wirral for the past 10 years. She is an expert in her own field, assessing and treating and wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. She is a trained PINC & STEEL cancer rehabilitation physiotherapist, working with patients after treatment, improving quality of life and fitness. She provides a hydrotherapy service and home visit service for a wide variety of patient conditions.
Sue has published work and co written books and is a visiting lecturer at Chester University. She has worked with arthritis care and NHS England on key projects over the last few years.
Areas of interest
Cancer Rehabilitation - post cancer physiotherapy to address many of the problems faced after surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. including, muscle strength, weakness, fatigue, reduced sensation, poor balance, core control, reduced sensation and general fitness.
Hydrotherapy - for all levels of musculoskeletal injury and mobility problems.
