About me

Having completed my specialist orthopaedic training in the North West region, I undertook a foot and ankle fellowship at the internationally renowned Wrightington Hospital. During my orthopaedic training, I undertook research projects in the area of foot and ankle surgery which have been published in peer reviewed journals and received prizes both at nationally and internationally renowned orthopaedic meetings.

I have been a full time NHS Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon working for the Pennine Acute NHS Trust since August 2014. My elective NHS practise currently focuses onfoot and ankle conditions and my practise encompasses the latest evidence based treatment options in this sub-specialty. I have successfully treated sports persons at all levels including a World Boxing Association lightweight champion.

I have been an honorary senior lecturer for Edge Hill Universityand I am currently a faculty member for a number of courses for orthopaedicspeciality trainees and a clinical supervisor for junior doctors in training.
