About me

Hello, my name is Deborah Kaye Hamer,
I am a qualified BACP Accredited Therapist, I have worked in the Nhs for over 20 years, 15 years as a Counsellor and Therapist.
I am also an accreditated Consultative Supervisor for Therapists.
I now run a private practice based in Camarthenshire, which offers psychotherapy and consultative supervision to other therapists.
I an an associate Therapist for various EAP companies and take private referals as well.


I am someone who will to listen to you unconditionally , empathically and work alongside you so that you can explore how you can move forward to find the life you deserve.
I believe that a persons life does not get better by chance, Life gets better by understanding how change can become possible, hope of "potential" that abides in us all., Therapy can be about and how "You" can embrace and harness change that may offer you the wellbeing you seek.
I work with Depression, Anxiety, Loss and Grief , Trauma. Relationship and relational issues.


I offer evening and daytime appointments, from Pontyates near Camarthen.
I offer confidential therapy in a private and relaxed space with free parking available a short distance from Carmarthen and LLanelli.
Face to face therapy, telephone consultations and ZOOM, are a medium that I use.
Telephone and Skype , some clients find useful in busy lives ,if face to face therapy seems too intrusive or difficult to access.
I also offer my services to EAP companies and Charities .Nhs affiliate sessional work
