About me
I am a qualified and registered BACP accredited therapist with considerable experience supporting individuals. I take a flexible solution focussed approach and I am trained in numerous approaches including AAMET Level 3 accredited certified advanced EFT practitioner and a trained EMDR Therapist.
I am highly empathic; tailoring my support to your situation in tandem with your own strategies. I use evidence based approaches for example I use CBT to help identify and adapt unhelpful patterns of behaviour and I use EFT to help overcome phobias and well as remove limiting beliefs to improve self-esteem and performance at work. I will share my approaches with you in order that you can use them to create coping strategies between and after therapy. I take a holistic approach to explore your physical and emotional well-being.
I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and loss. I can work with you to eliminate the ongoing effects of trauma; panic attacks and flashbacks.
I worked for five years years in counselling roles in occupational health organisations. I have been able to help many people with problems which are impacting their work. I understand the impact of work related stress, difficult working relationships, career transition, redundancy and retirement on personal wellbeing. I have a wealth of experience helping individuals to manage transition; shifting careers or priorities.
